Due to manufacturing considerations, the KAKOMI IH donabe will be renewed to be compatible with direct fire only. The new addition to the series, KAKOMI enamel pot, is compatible with both direct fire and induction cooktops. Additionally, the separately sold stainless steel steam plate can be used with both the ceramic and enamel KAKOMI pots.
